Welcome to The Harbor Tribune, your online source for local news, commentary, and investigative reporting. Our mission is to provide you with news, information, thought provoking opinions, playful satire and meaningful profiles on people the community cares about.

The Harbor Tribune emerged out of a commitment to ensure transparency and accountability in local government. Initially, it took shape as a blog named Grays Harbor Weekly. This venture was an experiment to determine if there would be a moderate interest in local news and investigative journalism. The response affirmed that there was indeed such an interest.

Our commitment goes beyond headlines; we're here to make a difference. Our site isn't just a news platform; it's a labor of love dedicated to delivering real investigative reporting. We will continue to expose government incompetence and corruption, we hold those in power accountable and give a voice to those who deserve to be heard.

"The people of this state do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies which serve them. The people, in delegating authority, do not give their public servants the right to decide what is good for the people to know and what is not good for them to know. The people insist on remaining informed so that they may retain control over the instruments they have created." - RCW 42.30.010
